Bobby MacKnett
Bobby MacKnett has lived in Delaware all of his life. He graduated from Smyrna High School, and later went on to complete an additional 4 years of Electrical Studies at Polytech Adult Education. He worked in the electrical field for over 10 years before starting MacKnett's Electric. After working for a few different electrical contractors, Bobby realized how widely accepted it was for electricians to "cut corners" and do "quick fixes". He was determined to establish a reputable organization that provided superior quality work at reasonable rates. This goal has been met with the formation of MacKnett's Electric!
Bobby takes great pride in his community, and has volunteered and donated to various organizations, including the Central Delaware YMCA and Aquatic Center, the Samaritan's Purse, the American Cancer Society, and the Delaware Energy Assistance Program, among others. This year MacKnett's Electric will proudly sponsor Habitat for Humanity, with both funding and volunteerism.
One of the major differences that sets MacKnett's Electric apart from other area electricians is the fact that the owner has made it known that he is willing to work with customers who cannot afford to make a payment up-front for their electrical repairs. Bobby has seen firsthand the damages that faulty electrical wiring can cause. Most other electrical contractors won't touch a job unless payment in full is provided. Mr. MacKnett understands that this is not always possible, and does not feel that any family should have to risk an electrical fire just because times are tough. He will sit down with you and figure out how he can help. He guarantees to work with any budget to ensure that your home is safe.
